ARTN - People

The Australian Regional Tourism Network (ARTN) was established as an incorporated organisation in 2001. It was formed to support advancement of regional tourism after Tourism Council Australia was disbanded in 2001.

Steering Committee

The ARTN is governed by a Steering Committee made up of representatives from  each State and Territory tourism commission, the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science and Tourism, regional tourism organisations, and representatives of national organisations with an interest in regional tourism (including Tourism Australia , Aboriginal Tourism Australia (ATA), Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF) Australia, Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) and Ecotourism Australia).

The current ARTN Executive Committee was elected at the Annual General Meeting held on 29 June 2007.
