ARTN supported establishment of the Australian Regional Tourism Research Centre (ARTRC) at Southern Cross University to undertake tourism research and extension activities.  The Centre’s work is assisting the growth of tourism industries and contributing to the sustainability of communities in regional Australia. The ARTN and the ARTRC have a strong working relationship with the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre (STCRC) which was established to underpin the development of a dynamic, internationally competitive, and sustainable tourism industry.
