John Sereni was elected to role of Chair of the ARTN in August 2010.
Currently the Manager of Destination Marketing & Design at Tourism Queensland, John is passionate about empowering industry and sharing what works.
Previous to this role John was the Director of Destination Management at Tourism Sunshine Coast and has held positions in Ski Resort Management around the world. He also spent nearly 20 years as a professional skier. John's qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Tourism from Monash University.
John lives in Brisbane with his wife Holly and their two young sons.
