Professor Kerry Brown was elected as an ATRN Director in 2010 and brings to the role a keen interest in promoting regional development through unique activities that create prosperous and vibrant regions.
Kerry is based at Southern Cross University’s Gold Coast campus and is the Director of the Research Centre for Tourism, Leisure and Work and holds the Mulpha Chair in Tourism Asset Management.
Active in strategic approaches to governance, Kerry is a Founding Fellow and Board member of the International Society for Engineering Asset Management and an Executive Board member of the International Society for Public Management. Kerry has written extensively on public management and policy, change management, work-life balance and employment relations. A recent publication is a co-edited book on Industry Clustering and another on Negotiation in the Business Environment.
